Dr. Shalía M. Santana Pagán is a highly skilled periodontist proudly serving the Florida community. Raised with a strong commitment to education and service, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and went on to complete 2 years of advanced training in general dentistry through a hospital-based residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York.
During her residency, Dr. Santana discovered her passion for periodontal surgery and pursued advanced specialty training in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at Stony Brook University in New York.
She is licensed in both New York and Florida and has years of experience providing high-quality periodontal and implant care in both group and private practice settings.
Throughout her career, Dr. Santana has participated in dental outreach programs locally and internationally, reflecting her commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. She is a proud member of the American Academy of Periodontology and other professional organizations.
A passionate educator, she received the Dr. Leo M. Davidoff Society Award for teaching excellence.
Through ongoing continuing education and advanced training, she continually refines her skills and integrates the latest clinical techniques to deliver exceptional, modern periodontal treatment. She also holds multiple fellowships on periodontics and implant dentistry.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Santana is known for her warm and approachable style of care. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys biking, traveling, and discovering new cuisines and cultures
